Northern itinerary

Sample Itinerary - Journey To The North

Day 1 - Trogir
Your journey to the north Adriatic coast starts in Trogir. This beautiful ancient walled town with its magnificent cathedral and a labyrinth of narrow winding streets with excellent restaurants provides a fitting introduction to local Croatian cuisine and way of life.
Day 2 - Krknjasi Islands and Primosten
The next morning your skipper sets sail for the pristine turquoise lagoon that surrounds the Krknjasi Islands, where your crew will serve breakfast alfresco. Lunch is organised at a nearby local fish restaurant where the owners pride themselves on only offering the pick of the day's catch. After lunch we sail north to Primosten a picturesque medieval town where we moor overnight.
Day 3 - Gulf of Sibenik, Zirje and the Kornati Archipelago
We continue to sail north, leaving Primosten in the morning. We anchor in a nearby cove for breakfast before setting sail across the Gulf of Sibenik towards the Kornati Islands National Park, renowned for its outstanding natural beauty. We call at the island of Zirje, anchoring in a bay for a light lunch and the opportunity to cool off in the crystalline waters of the Adriatic. After lunch we depart for one of the most isolated marinas of the magnificent Kornati archipelago, marina Piskera where we moor overnight.
Day 4 - Kornati Archipelago and Dugi Island
Today we explore the 147-island wilderness of the Kornati archipelago, meandering through the many channels. For lunch we anchor in the lush green bay of Telascica on the southern most point of Dugi Island where you can take the short walk to the enchanting salt water lake of Mir. We then sail to our evening berth in the marina of Zut. After dinner, the short walk to the top of the hill allows breathtaking views of the Adriatic sunset.
Day 5 - Velik Borovnjak, Mali Borovnjak and Kakan
This morning we take a southernly course to a bather's paradise and anchor between the three islands Velik Borovnjak, Mali Borovnjak and Kakan. For the more adventurous your crew will delight in teaching you the basics of water-skiing, wake boarding or offer you a roller coaster ride with a difference in our inflatable "doughnuts"! Leaving this natural haven, we sail for the spectacular cliff faced channel past Sibenik, following the inland waterway for about 12 nautical miles, to the fresh water marina of Skradin where we moor overnight.
Day 6 - Skradin, the Krka National Park and Sibenik
Today we leave the yacht to spend the day exploring the amazing Krka National Park. This area of outstanding natural beauty boasts countless interconnected lakes and waterfalls with the opportunity of short boat tours or walks around the many bridges and footpaths. The Franciscan monastery of Visovac located in the middle of one of the lakes makes a picturesque visit. From the tranquility of the Krka National Park we sail back towards the sea, to the lively and teeming town of Sibenik where we moor overnight in front of the old walled town with its ramparts and cannons still intact. Sibenik offers many fine restaurants, lively bars and cafes to while away the hours.
Day 7 - Return to Trogir
In the morning, after breakfast, we depart from Sibenik and return to our base in Trogir where your host returns you to the airport for your flight home.
