Croatia Blue Yacht Charter is a family business with strong local links to this area of the coast, as our family originates from Trogir. We believe we bring a unique experience to our customers, as we have all lived for many years in the UK and moved back to Croatia 5 years ago to begin this venture. Mihaela and Antonio bring you 30 years of experience in the travel business whilst their sons, Tony and Andy, have worked in the City of London prior to becoming a part of Blue Yacht Charter. Through this blend of cultures we offer you the best of both worlds in combining sophisticated service levels and understanding of clients' needs with a detailed knowledge of the local environment. We have sampled a myriad of hotels, resorts, cruises, ports, airports and apartments in Croatia and world wide. Based on our personal experiences, Blue Yacht Charter hopes to bring you a touch of elegance and exclusivity with the excitement of a high performance yacht to create a holiday like no other. With years of experience of sailing the Croatian coastline, the skippers of our yachts have a lifetime's knowledge of these waters, and all hold commercial licences. Your enjoyment and safety is of paramount importance to us. Located in Trogir Around 400 B.C. the first settlers in Trogir were the Greeks. The town was incorporated into the Rome Empire in the first century A.D., becoming an important centre for commerce and administration for the province of Dalmatia. After the fall of the Roman Empire, Trogir became independent in a similar way to Dubrovnik. From around the 7th century A.D. the Croat Slavs settled in the area and integrated into the local population. Trogir’s medieval history can be seen in the narrow streets and alleyways, many of which have remained untouched for hundreds of years. Many of Trogir’s buildings are made from local stone while the more decorative buildings are constructed from “Bracki Kamen” a white stone quarried at the nearby island of Brac. It was this stone that was used to build the White House in Washington DC, the official residence of the President of the United States. The Trogir of today enjoys a thriving café culture and there are many excellent restaurants and bars to visit. Our base here is the villa built by our family in 1936 which enjoys a wonderful position very close to the heart of the old town. The villa benefits from its own extensive landscaped grounds, private beach and a boat-house. There a several modern and luxuriously appointed apartments which can also be made available to you.
